Popeye Smoothie
For the most part, I’m an equal opportunity vegetable lover.  Eating all my vegetables is never an issue for me unless it’s Asparagus..then I want to gag.   As you know, in the summer I like to drink my breakfast in the form of smoothies especially after a run.  The milk and protein powder really help with my muscle recovery and the sugar in the fruit helps restore my energy.  I also add yogurt for a good dose of probiotics to keep the plumbing working.  So after reading an article about adding vegetables to your smoothie, I decided to give spinach a whirl.
To my surprise, you can’t taste the spinach, at all.  The only evidence there was of spinach was a piece of green stuck in my teeth.  After drinking, I felt like I was ready to tackle my day like Popeye taking on Brutus.
