Halibut with Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients

halibut

lemon

white wine or vegetable stock
1/2
tablespoon
butter
1
tablespoon
of capers
1/4
cup
onion
finely diced
2
cloves
garlic
minced
cooking oil spray
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat a non stick pan on high heat and spray with cooking spray (I like Chosen Foods Avocado oil spray).
Turn heat to low.
Add fish skin side down.
Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 4 minutes.
Flip and cook for 1 minute.
Remove fish from pan.
Add butter to pan and melt.
Add garlic to melted butter. Cook for 1 minute.
Add lemon juice and cook for 1 minute.
Add capers and stir into lemon butter. Cook for 1 minute
Add white wine or stock.
Add fish back to pan and cook in lemon butter for 2 minutes. Baste with sauce while cooking.
Plate fish.
Reduce sauce until it is a rich golden brown (about 2-3 minutes). Pour over fish and enjoy.
