wash

Yes, I understand that in the scheme of things the flooding that happens in my wash machine closet really isn’t grand. Yes, I understand that this is a first world issue and that people do not have clean water to drink let alone wash their clothes with in parts of the world. Yes, I know these things, however it is still frustrating to wake up to a foot of suds on a Saturday morning.  A plumber is coming to scope the pipes this week and until that the washer is now in the hallway.  First world problems, yet still frustrating.

Sucks and I am feeling it.
Here the washer’s water empties into a big basin right next to it – where you also can wash the mop.
I am guessing something went wrong with the pipes (my building is 36 yrs old ) and the water was not draining right so the basin overflowed…. on to the laundry, maid’s room and bathroom, kitchen, dining room and dogs….
