I made it to COSTA RICA!!!!!!! After a week of rest and relaxation I’m hoping that I come back to some awesome Chicago Spring Weather..and that means Spring Clothing. But, spring is always a tricky season to shop and dress for.  So I have asked my good friend  Ann Forman  of El-No Chicago to help us out with some Spring Shopping tips….

Supposedly Spring has sprung. But the threat of snow is still in the air and I’m afraid to do my Winter/ Spring closet switch.

Typically, this seasonal clothing change out results in me hauling all of my winter gear into our guest room closet. All this happens while trying to squeeze my Springy skirts and shoes into the mini master bedroom closet that I share with my husband. Add in several hours of prancing around in front of the mirror and you have a full day of Spring organizing. I am exhausted just thinking about it.
As we move into warmer weather, color forecasters and retailers are showing orange and honeysuckle (hot pink) as the on-trend colors. These vibrant pops are perfect colors to incorporate into your wardrobe and make up choices. My favorite designer example of this trend is the Raf Simons for Jil Sander collection. I am in lust with the pink lipstick and fabulous magenta floor length skirt.
The items below are my preferred ways to mix these trend forward colors into your wardrobe (be it a splurge worthy accessory or a wardrobe steal). Since these colors are bright, be sure to use them to highlight your favorite feature.
