When traveling I think the #1 key to comfort is a pair of shoes that don’t hurt your feet walking in the airport.  #2 clothing that is comfortable and doesn’t restrict you while in flight.  #3 a good backpack to keep your hands free at the airport.

you look travel ready! I love the outfit.

Make sure to try to go through the National Gallery – they recently reopened the Portrait Gallery which is not so huge an overwhelming and very interesting if you are looking for something different.

I am a little jealous of your DC trip. I want to go see friends and family.
