BONNAROO CHAPTER FOUR
Time to Rally
By Day 3 of the Bonnaroo Festival we were starting to get tired.  Four days of listening to a bunch of noise makers is a lot of stimuli.  Add in the heat and humidity… I needed a lot of lemonades to rally.  And some VIP tickets (more on the VIP tickets later in this post).
We actually didn’t get to the festival until the afternoon and we started out our day by catching Nora Jones followed by the Dave Rawlings Machine.  Both were great.  Nora Jones’ voice is mesmerizing and Dave Rawlings is just a fun blue grass act to watch.
Charlie being the super keen person that he is noticed a sign..if you bought the Rock Band Beatles Edition you got a VIP pass for the day. SIGN ME UP.  Two video games later we had VIP tickets for the main stage for the night.  VIP access also meant TOILETS that FLUSHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WITH TOILET PAPER and LIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!  Yes, after three days of peeing a port-o-crapper holding a flash light this was treat.
But first…dinner (a girl has her priorities).  Our first day at the festival we signed up to eat at the festivals farm stand dinner.  It was quite delightful to have a real meal with VEGETABLES and healthy ingredients among festival food we were eating.
After dinner we watched in interesting act that I still can figure out who they were on the lineup.  It was  several rappers and a a guy with a cardboard box space outfit.
We then headed over to the main stage.  Hello VIP and VIP Seating!
Stevie Wonder and JayZ rocked the house!
We then made our way to catch Thievery Corporation.
We once again attempted to stay last night with the Disco Biscuits.  But, by 3:15 AM they still had not gone on and we had been there for 13 hours. I was hot, I was tired and my feet hurt.  So, we packed it up and headed back to the hotel for a good night sleep.
