Just because I can’t shop does not mean that I can’t look. Right? RIGHT?
Today at lunch I decided to take a walk down Michigan Avenue. For shits and giggles, I decided to try on a pair of size 14 pants at Ann Taylor.
Anyone have a crow bar and some Vaseline? Spanx? Yeah, I guess I’m not a size 14 yet. In all fairness, these pants look a LOT worse in the picture than they did in real life. In fact, I’d say that if I owned these I would be about 10 pounds away from fitting into them. I’m sure a size 16 would have fit, but they didn’t have one to try on for comparison purposes.

I firmly believe you can always look. And try on. And ask sales associates to get you more things to look at and try on. And not buy one thing. 🙂
