“Delane get your clothes on NOW!”
“Lets go! were leaving in 5 Minutes”

SIGH….

I was so comfortable curled up in bed yesterday afternoon napping, but Charlie made me go for a run. While I wanted to beat him to a bloody pulp as he was telling me to get ready, I’m glad he did. I feel so much better after I work out. I eat better, I sleep better, I have a better attitude. Being physically active makes me a better balanced person.

I’m also catching up with the some of the runners in the Nike+ challenge. Some of them have been training for races and have around 20-30 miles on me. I lost a weeks worth of running because of my stoopid ipod re-setting and I did not synch it. Lesson learned, I sych after every run now. Oh well. Nothing motivates me more than some healthy competition.

I’m starting to notice those ever so small physical changes in body that running produces. While I’m not lighter, I’m leaner. I walk faster and with less pain in my joints. All good things.

So I guess I owe Charlie a Thank you for getting me off my arse.
