The past week was a pretty great week:

  1. I volunteered twice (personally fulfilling, even when it is challenging to fit it into my schedule, it makes me feel good)
  2. I caught up on my Oprah’s (guilty pleasure)
  3. I finished a great book and saw the movie based on the book and ate way to much popcorn with butter(I highly recommend “Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” both the book and movie)
  4. We had two glorious days of weather in Chicago and I got to go out and walk in the sunshine
  5. I ran twice…2 miles each time
  6. Had dinner at my mom’s on Sunday (she always makes something tasty and delicious and not cooking on Sunday’s rocks)
  7.  I had a great dinner on Saturday night, had 1 too many Bombay Sapphire Martinis (they say that martinis are like boobs, 1’s not enough, 3 is too many, 2 are just right….well apparently that is a lie, I had 2 and had a wicked headache all day) and lots of fun at two birthday parties. (I had hope to get a few full length shots of my outfit on Saturday, but apparently I was too busy sucking down gin to take them…whoopsie)
  8. I lost another half pound (best part of the week, always good to see the scale go down, I’m so close to my 10% I can taste it)

Sometimes I think to much about the the “stuff” I need to do and what I did not accomplish (like cleaning the air vents, washing the windows and washing the couch cover)…oh well another week, another set of possibilities.
