I got to move a chive bed at the Urban Farm where I volunteer at today.  During the move a few of the chives lost their life.  Because I hate to waste food (starving children in Africa people!) I scooped them up and brought them home with me.  Don’t worry there are enough weeds chives to top a baked potato  for the entire city of Chicago, I’m sure a few gone went unnoticed.

Gardening is hard and rewarding work.  Its really awesome to see things grow and see an ugly city corner transform into a lush farm. It also makes me hungry!

I made deliciousness in a bowl after my hot bath.

1 Cup strawberries halved
1 small container fat free Greek yogurt
2 tsp chopped hazelnuts
1 tsp honey

HEAVEN IN A BOWL
