I’m really loving this outfit today, down to my DIY belt.  Yep I made that belt with my own two hands.  Two ties, a needle and some tread. I can’t claim that I came up with the idea myself.  I was at a holiday market and woman was selling them for $50 a pop.  And while some of her color combos were fab, I figured I could make that at home myself.  I took two of Charlie’s old ties, both navy blue and sewed them together (you kind of tuck one of the ends under the other and stitch together.)  Viola!

On a side note, I ran last night in my new Nike Free Run+ Shoes.  I ran for 30:45 minutes, 2.5 miles (lap work at the gym inside, so I can’t get  too excited about the pace) with no foot pain yesterday or today.  Go Me!

The tie/belt idea is a great one–I will have to try that! I LOVE the color combo in this outfit. I have a thing for combining blues right now. Lovely 🙂
