Last night with group of my gal pals I went to see Sex and the City II. Well actually a group of my gal pals less Susan! Why? Because she went to the wrong theater.

Susan- where are you?
Me: Up the escalator

(this is where we pick up the phone and talk to each other, she thought she missed me and just went to the theater. She was really nice and saved 5 seats for us)
10 minutes later in THEATER 6 at 600 N. Michigan looking for Susan
Susan- Are you coming?
Me- Where are you? We don’t see you.
Susan- In the theater. Second row. Near entrance. Am I in the wrong place?
Me- I think so. Are you at the Lowes, 600 N. Michigan?
Susan- Theater 5
(this is where we pick up the phone and Laugh! Yep, Susan was at the 7:15 SATC II at the Lowes on Illinois, not the Lowes on Michigan.
Regardless, we hooked up afterward and sucked down a few Martinis together at Martini Ranch.
Not having been there in several years, I forgot how tasty their Martinis are and how many kinds they have to choose from. I had two martinis and then another mixed drink. I went to bed feeling pretty darn good last night..well until I had to wake up at 6:30 am today. I had a to be at a JLC meeting at 8:30 and have Addison at the groomers at 7:30. I also needed to hit home depot for seeds to plant in our garden plot after my JLC meeting and then get my eyebrows waxed. I also need to shower and walk the dogs all prior to leaving house. So up at 6:30 am it was. Ugh, I need a nap.

For some reason I never watched Sex and the City. So i have no interest in the movies or the re runs of the series- i must be an alien. Even my husband watched it.
My friends look at me like, they wonder where i have been..
