First things first, Happy FRIDAY!!!
Summer Sweaters are a running joke.  I don’t know how the joke became a joke but its a joke now.
Right or wrong, I classify my clothes as winter, spring, summer, fall and multi-seasonal (ie. gabardine pants).  Rarely does a winter garment get worn in the summer and vice versa.  Thus, I have sweaters that can ONLY be worn in the summer.  Anytime Charlie and I go out in the summer and there is the slightest breeze Charlie will exclaim, “Rut Roh, better go get a SUMMER sweater.”  Whatever, I chill easily.
A summer sweater is key for chilly summer nights, breezy days and for the office when the frozen tundra is warmer than the buildings AC.  What differentiates my summer sweaters from a winter sweaters, usually fabric and color.  My summer sweaters are typically light weight; cotton, silk or a light wool (single ply cashmere or merino wool). Or, they are bright in color, have a lively flora print.   Yes I LOVE MY SUMMER SWEATERS.
Today I’m sporting a beautiful summer sweater that Charlie brought back for me from Germany from my favorite store, COS.  And I’m also wearing my new Tory Burch sandals. (so far no blisters!)
(ignore the toes that need a pedicure, badly)

    Ohhh those sandals.
I now know why you succumbed to them.
I classify my clothes in Air conditioner (meaning office and the movies) and hot, hell hot.
