Bonnaroo – Chapter 3

Chapter 3

A HOT and SWEATY MESS

Let me start out by saying it was HOT, the heat index of 105 degrees hot.  I felt like I was melting in a pool of my own sweat most of the day and NIGHT.  But I we had so much fun!

 

12:00 AM

We started the day by watching Conan O’Brien ( Conan O’Brien (live feed from the Comedy Theater) on the a jumbo tron)) and then moved over to catch the Gaslight Anthem (caught the end)  and then on to see part of The Gossip.   I started working on my tan, particularly my feet. 

and got a free t-shirt

3:00 PM
We spent time around Centeroo

Bought our concert t-shirts and posters(mailed said posters to ourselves at home so we wouldn’t need to carry them around with us or on the plane home)

4:00 PM
Helped beat a world record for hugs.

4:30 PM
We then caught Damian Marley & Nas

We sat in the hot sun and  a few beers

I was a hot sweaty mess after few beers and they made me goofy

6:30 PM
We caught Tenacious D

9:30 PM
We saw the awesome Kings of Leon

Did I mention that it was hot?  I mean, how hot am in this photo?

12:00 AM
After King so of Leon we then went to see the The Flaming Lips with Star Death & White Dwarfs which was too crowded so we moved on to The Black Keys but ended up at Daryl Hall & Chromeo.  It was part Hall & Oats, part funk…and a lot of FUN.

1:00 AM
Charlie was hot and cooled off in the Centeroo fountain

2:00 AM

We tried to stay for LCD Soundsystem but it was 2:00 AM and we were there for 14 hours already so we called it a night
