It was a huge struggle today to not wear black.
Lets back up to last summer…

Last summer after a dreadful fall, winter and spring that included sporadic exercise due to injury lack of motivation, I gained weight.  This here picture is what had me running going back to Weight Watchers faster than the Road Runner being chased by Wile E. Coyote.

However, prior to getting my ass in gear I had a mini melt down ..you know the melt down where you are standing naked in front of your closet while crying because nothing fits?  Well, apparently during this melt down I got a bit OVERZELOUS and got rid of a lot of clothes that didn’t fit.

F*** IT, I’m fat..its gotta go.

Okay, major oopsy on my part ( well sort of, it seems I was selective to summer, I have oodles of fall and winter stuff).  Anyhow, to make a long story longer.  I got rid of a lot of summer clothes.  You know the ones that are pretty shades of green, yellow, pink and blue.  The white linen blazer that goes with everything that keeps you from becoming a Popsicle in the office.   Yeah, those clothes are gone gone gone.

But have no fear, last year I got replacement clothes.

And they are now too big.    I’ve got a wardrobe that is 1/2 to big and 1/2 too small at the moment.  And, I’m struggling not lot look like Morticia Addams on a daily basis.

So today, I am searching for a tailor that doesnt cost more than going out and buying 4 new skirts and few new tops.  I don’t see this ending well.

Today’s Non Black Get-Up

Dress- Aqua (Nordstrom’s 2004)
Necklace- Ann Taylor Loft (?)
Shoes- AK Ann Klein (2004 I think)
Bracelet- Gift
Earrings- ?

It sucks not having clothes that fit. I feel your pain. Good luck with the tailor!
