Happy Friday!!!
Last night we went to the Green City Market BBQ.  I ate like I was a convicted felon on death row eating her last meal.   Because I was so focused on not missing out on a morsel of anything that contained pork belly or bacon, I didn’t take any pictures.    But you can check out flickr and the fabulous pictures other people took of the event.
Highlights of the night:
Signature Room’s (Patrick Sheerin) Grirlled Beef Shoulder on Toasted Pretzel Bread with Pickled Ramp and Tounge Salsa Verde (Dietzler Farms, LaBriola Bakery, Werp Farms)
Spiaggia’s (Tony Mantuano and Sarah Gruenberg) Grilled pizza with Goat Cheese, Apricots, La Quercia Pancetta and Mint (Becker Lan Organic, Capriole, Mick Klug Farm, Nichols Farm and Orchard)
Fontera Grill/Topolbambo/XOCO’s (Rick Bayless) Grilled Pork Belly Tacos with Salsa Negra and Arugula, homemade queso fresco, homemade corn tortillas.  (Gunthrop Farms, Nichols Farm and Orchard)
Drink- Templeton Cherries:  Templeton Rye, Cointreau, Sour Cherries, Sugar, Lemon Juice, Lemon and
Orange peel, Cinnamon Stick.  This drink was FAN FREAKINTASTIC!  Light refreshing, oh yum.

This was just the tip of the iceberg (okay it was 90+ degrees with grills going, iceberg is a bad analogy).

Friday’s Duds
Top- Ann Taylor Loft (2006) also seen here
Jeans- Gap (2009)..yeah I wear these a lot, I also own two pair of the same jeans
Flip Flops- Havaianas (Gilt Sale, Replacements for 2009 filip flops, 2010)

It’s the best ticket in the summer. Soooo much food to ingest in 2 hours.
