I have my first run planned on Thursday.  Were running the Elvis is Alive 5K after work. (this is our 3rd year running it, fun race with beer..woot)  Then another 3 miles this weekend.  That is all the running I have on tap for the week. This means no 6 am wake-up calls for me this week! Its like I’m on vacation.
Muscle recovery is going pretty well.  I’m still a little sore in my hips and quads.  *WARNING TMI GROSSNESS* I popped two blood blister under my toe nails last night and my toes feel much better.  They are no longer black n’ blue under the nail since the blood was release.  I can touch my toes and they don’t hurt.
I’m actually looking forward to running on Thursday.

Popping blood blisters is not TMI in the running world – it could have been MUCH worse:)

    Yeah for recovery!

    Like the shoes!

You can pop the black and blues? I did not know this. I’ve been running around with b&b toes for 4 months.
