The midwest has been blessed with a really beautiful fall.  Cool temps and lots of sun; we even had a real Indian summer.  The change of seasons is what I love about Chicago. And I’m ready for winter sweater weather to start.  It was cool enough on Friday to wear one of my favorite sweaters.  I bought it in Germany last year at one of my favorite stores Cos.  Its soft, warm, has pockets and REALLY Comfortable.  It may not show off my figure, the collar might be a bit excessive and it might not be the best color on me but I love it.

Do you have clothes that you just love, regardless of how they look on you?

This week was a busy one, travel, conference, work, work, work, junior league, work, junior league, work.  I’m glad its the weekend.  I’m glad to have no plans either.  A do nothing weekend is exactly what I need.

Leggings- Black House and White Market (2007)
Swater- Cos (2009)
Boots- Enzo Angiolini (2010)
Earrings- Gift

I think the sweater is cute! I do love sweater weather too. I am all about my fleece jackets even though they aren’t the most fashionable things.

I agree–I think you look great in the sweater. It does look really cozy. Yes, I have some things I love that don’t really flatter me–I’m kind of into the nerd-chic look right now, even though oxfords aren’t the most flattering shoes I wear the heck out of them.
