Hello vacation!
Well kinda. I have to go in the office on Monday. But it should be painless. SHOULD being the key word.
I kicked off vacation today with a gourmet lunch at the Purple Pig with a friend. We had wine, cheese and swine. It was delightful. Now I’m going to take a nap. Then caroling at The Bean. And finally a much needed good nights sleep.

Have a wonderful vacation! I work most of the time around holidays. My family is all local, so I don’t have to take extra time to travel. Plus I would rather take my time when I can go on vacations elsewhere, plus it is nice for my co-workers with kids to be able to take off. I am glad there is only one week before Christmas though!

I usually take the time off around the holidays, but this year, I’m working 2 or 3 days. I tend to become a hermit and miserable when I don’t have anything that I *have* to do, so I’m hoping the couple of days working keeps me from going into hermit mode.
