One of my friend’s signature line is “Make it a Powerful Day.”  My condo building’s motto is “Live brilliantly.”  I was thinking on my walk to work what is my life motto?  Everyday of my life is not brilliant nor is powerful.  I’m not a “Just do it” kinda gal either.

As I sat at my desk and made my to-do list for the day I realized that I feel most accomplished on days when I cross of things on my list.  I feel good when I meet my goals.  Be it progress on the scale or writing report at work,  I feel best when I succeed at goals and complete tasks.  So my new life motto…”Live life successfully, just FINISH.”

Today to live life successfully I got up at 5:50 to go to spin class.  I completed around 1/2 my to-do list (not so successful but I’ll be in early to finish up what I wasn’t able to finish).  I went grocery shopping for a party that I hosted tonight.  I made a nice dinner for several ladies, had good conversation, did the dishes and put the house back in order.

What is your life motto?  What did you do today to reach it?

    Well you look fabulous 🙂
I feel like a true champion when I cross stuff off my “to do list” – even if its something really stupid like “Pick up shoes from cobbler” or “drop the paper in recycle bin”.
I should totally step it up- I have no life motto.

I don’t have a life motto, but I need one! I feel the same way about lists–crossing off what I’ve done makes me feel so good!
And hello, what a gorgeous dress by the way! I love this!
