I want to go on the record and say that herbal tea is not a substitute for ice cream before bedtime.  The past two nights I have been trying to not have a bed time treat.  I usually end my evening with a 1/2 c of ice cream or a small piece of chocolate candy.  In an attempt to get back on track with my eating (in other words, I need the points for food during the day) I have been drinking herbal tea.  While I love the tea, IT IS NOT ICE CREAM!
This change seems to have caused a disruption to my sleep. That sweet treat is my evening ritual and eating it put me in a little coma before bed.  Without it my night is incomplete and I can’t shut down properly.  So today I saved 3 points for a piece of chocolate before I go to bed.  And while I wanted another portion of my tasty and delicious dinner.  I passed, because I value my nighttime treat and even more, I VALUE MY SLEEP.

Dinner tonight:  chicken with a lemon caper vermouth sauce, brown rice and a spinach almond cranberry salad with a sesame cider vinegar dressing.

Are the pants from this year? I’m looking for a brown pair of pants.

    I liked the necklace too.

We switched from ice cream to popcorn. Moreso because of cost, not points.

I couldn’t agree more–tea is nowhere near as good as ice cream. I wish I liked the former more and the latter less. Anyway, I love that cozy sweater and how you’ve jazzed it up with the fun belt and necklace.
