As you all know, I love holidays.  Christmas, Fourth of July, Easter…. I love the decor, the food and the fact that they make most people happy.  I even love Valentine’s Day, Hallmark and all.
This year Charlie out did himself and  it was a TOTAL surprise.  I was convinced we were either going to a cooking class or to the Purple Pig for dinner.  Low and behold, we went to Bev-Art’s Winemaking class.

The highlight of the evening included making our own wine.

In about a month we will hopefully bottle around 3 cases of wine.

In addition to making our own wine, we also blended and bottled wine.

And then being the fun person I am, I volunteered us for the grape stomp!  This is when the night went down hill, literally.

Charlie preparing for the grape stomp.

And here we go!

And there we went!!

And then hysterical laughter set in.

Needless to say, we didn’t win.

We ended the night with a lovely dinner and headed home.

BEST VALENTINE’S DAY PRESENT EVER!!!

I had so much fun and felt very loved.  What more could a gal want?

Thanks everyone. It was so much fun! If you like wine, and have the opportunity to make your own, do it. If not, just enjoy the fruits of others labor.
