The Breakfast Club
It is my favorite movie of all time. I have seen it over 100 times and know just about every word in it. So you can only imagine how excited I was today to get to meet the ICONIC Molly Ringwald.
I went to see Molly Ringwald at the Junior League’s Book Author Series at the Union League Club at lunch.
For the records, she looks fantastic. She has a warm personality and is a funny and engaging speaker. I’m excited to read her book, Getting the Pretty Back because I love its message. She encourages every woman to become “the sexiest, funniest, smartest, best-dressed, and most confident woman that you can be.” Prettiness is a state of mind.
Can I also just say, I WANT HER SHOES!!!
Being a soggy gross April day and not wanting to get out of bed today I threw on a dress and was out the door. Now I wish I would have amped up the look, or a least worn a hot pair of stilettos and a chic women’s wallet.

How exciting!!! I am so jealous, The Breakfast Club is one of my all time favorites. Knowing me I would have gotten nervous and started spouting off quotes from the movie and I would have asked her to teach me the lipstick trick. ha! I will have to get her book.
