day 3

Day 3

Day 3

I feel like today is the calm before the storm.  I have got so much to do in the next 17 days that I’m sure by May 22nd I won’t know which end is up between travel and work.  But the good news is that as of today I think I’m caught up on my overdue to-do list.  Now I just need to keep up on my to-do and all be all set.

Today is Day 3 of pre-marathon training.  Day 2 did not go as planned.  I had 4 miles to run.  I ran 2 because I was short on time bored out of my freaking mind on the track.  Seriously how do people run more than 2-3 miles just going in circles inside?  I ended up doing squats, lunges and jumping rope  for a total of 40 minutes worth of exercise.  I really wish it would warm up to I could run outside without freezing. That or I need to do some serious mental conditioning.

Pants- Ann Taylor
Top- Zara
Shoes- Jill Stuart
Earrings- gift
necklace- bought in Hawaii
Watch-Fossil

You look fabulous, in case I haven’t told you lately! I can really see all of your hard work paying off via your photos.

I have run up to 7 miles on a 5-lap-per-mile track. I have to do it in order to fit in training runs after work where there is childcare… no outside running in the dark for me. For me it is all about the music and the stories in my head. 🙂

I think the gym can be more boring – I tend to run (if outside) aroundw here I live so it’s quite pretty and lots to look at but it’s too hard now that it’s going into winter and getting a bit dark at night now. Good luck with your training 🙂

Is that top hiding your pants are too big? The outfit is very slimming and becoming.

Having run 24 laps on a track outside before is fine. I can’t imagine doing it inside. Of course I may have run 7 miles on a treadmill.

I don’t even know how people run at all, so I don’t know how they do it indoors! I love that blouse–the print is so pretty!

Thanks everyone. Nicole I think I need some new tunes. Alb I don’t mind the outdoor track but the indoor one *shoot me now* and I kind of feel the same way on the treadmill. Though sometime I do get into a tv program to make the time go faster.
