I fulfilled my civic duty today. I sat in a room for 5 hours never to get called and only to be paid $17.20. I suppose I should be happy that I didn’t have to go out to the suburbs.
OMG – it did happen ! You had jury duty, I have always hoped for never having to do it. I have an aunt who has been a jury about 6 times. She usually cries as most of the time it has been murder cases.
