Day 1: Up at  the asscrack of dawn 3:30 am, flew to Charleston then drove to Savannah, stopped for a roadside snack somewhere in South Carolina, found hotel, toured the Savannah river walk and downtown, hydrated with fresh squeezed lemonade, had a delightful shrimp salad sandwich for lunch, went to the SandGants game, snacked on some hush puppies, drove to Tybee Island to eat at the Crab Shack, then had an nightcap at the microbrewery Moon River.
Savannah
Day 2: Stood in line at Mrs. Wilke’s Boarding House, tried 20 of the 22 dishes at Mrs. Wilke’s and had seconds of the fried chicken and maccaroni and cheese, toured the city, took a nap, had ice cream at Leopold’s, went on a ghost tour, had cocktails and a snack on a rooftop bar.

Day 3: Attempted to run, ate breakfast a Clary’s, toured Bonaventure Cemetary, drove back to Charleston, found hotel, attend the rehearsal dinner aboard the Carolina Belle.

Day 4: At Sullivan’s Island by 10:45 am for the wedding of good friends (same friends we went to Costa Rica with), attended the gorgeous (albeit hot and humid) wedding, napped back at the hotel, walked along the water front of Charleston, went to dinner at Red’s a  local bar.
Day 5: Traveled Home
It was hot, humid and great time!

I’ve love to see bigger pictures of both dresses on Day 4. Sounds like a great, busy, mini vacation! How was the ghost tour?

The ghost tour was kind of joke…but fun. In hind sight we would have taken a walking tour vs. a trolly tour. But it was HOT!

I’ve taken the ghost tour. It is fun and silly.

I agree about seeing the dresses up close.

Sounds like you had a good time.
