NON STOP FUN FILLED WEEKEND!  This weekend was great.

Friday night we started the weekend by biking with Critical Mass. After a 2 hour bike ride we stopped for a sandwich at Twisted Spoke. FYI Twitters’,  follow them and get a free bottle of their Bloody Mary mix!(not sure how long they will be doing this, but I followed then and they sent me a message to get a free bottle of their mix)

Saturday we got a late start and went out to run 10 miles at 8:30 am. 10 turned into 8 and 8 is kind of a joke since I think we walked around a 1/3 of it. I was still suffering the lingering effects of the stomach flu from last week. It was one of the worst runs that I have had in a long time. Worse than the Fleet Feet 10K. To add insult to injury I went to take an ice bath and I didn’t test my bathtub’s cold water (currently having issues with not having cold water the condo) and sure enough, warm water came out and MELTED the ice. UGH!

After SHOWERING we made our way to brunch. We were going to go to the pool but decided that it was too hot (yes too hot for the pool, I just wasn’t in the mood to sit in the sun) We tried to go to Rootstock but it wasn’t open on Saturdays for Brunch so we headed to Wicker Park.  We ended up at Jerry’s Sandwichs. As our luck would have it the power went out as we went to order, so we settled on having a cold sandwich with cold sides.

We ran a few errands (I’m with coffee pot again!) and power napped.   That night we met up with friends at the Milwaukee Avenue Art Festival.

A few load of laundry and another power nap later we ended the weekend with dinner at Blue 13.

Defiantly a Summer Fun FILLED Weekend!

This does look like a fun-filled weekend! Mmm, those tacos look good! And did you get that hat? You look really good in it!
