2011 was not too shabby of a year!
In January…
I CONTINUED to survive winter and a Bears loss in the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Pukers Packers.
In February…
We took Addison to the Animal Magnetism benefit for Paws
Charlie surprised me and we made wine on Valentines Day.
I survived Snowpocalypse of 2011
I registered for the Chicago Marathon
In March…
I went to Grant Achatz‘s book launch party for Life, On the Line
And we took an AWESOME Vacation to Costa Rica with great friends
In April…
I attended a Molly Ringwald book signing for Getting the Pretty Back
I also ran a respectable time in the Shamrock Shuffle
In May…
I was in Orlando, Philadelphia and Washington DC. I ended up with a new shoes (and a dress and make-up) due to temporarily lost luggage by United Airlines.
In June…
I started Marathon Training
I also became the EVP of the Junior League of Chicago
In July…
I made the worlds worst cake for the 4th of July
I went to Savannah, GA for a mini vacation
I ate all foods southern
And then went to one of the most beautiful and HOT weddings in South Carolina
In August…
I ran the Rock n’ Roll Half Marathon
My garden made it over the hump (too much rain in June and July) and it started to produce non rotting produce
I ate the best dish of the year, Squid Ink pasta at El Ideas
I signed back up for Weight Watchers
In September…
I realized that I pulled my groin by finally going to the doctor and had to drop out of training for the Chicago Marathon
I went to Fashion Night Out Chicago
I attended Threadless‘ Birthday party
In October…
I began what would be three very long and busy months
I traveled back to DC
I took my annual trip to Wisconsin
I went to the Girl in the Kitchen launch party at Salvage One
In November…
I had the best dinner of the year at Next
I went to Hoptacular
The Junior League of Chicago’s Gazebo was a great success
In December…
I traveled close to 10,000 miles to Orlando, San Fransisco, Salt Lake City and then San Fransisco
I had an awesome ski day in Park City
I had a great long weekend getaway with Charlie in San Francisco
