My last business trip of  2011 was in Berkley, CA.

At the end of the trip I tagged on a mini-vacation weekend in San Francisco with Charlie. We had a great time exploring the city, taking the street cars and hitting many of the neighborhoods including Pacific Heights, SoMa (South or Market), Haight-Ashbury and lower Haight. We also enjoyed some of the more “touristy” sights like Ghiradelli Square, Fisherman’s Wharf, China Town and Alcatraz Island.

Sounds like a great trip–it was nice you were able to make a little vacation out of a business trip. I’ve never been to California before but I’ve always wanted to go!

    Yay !
SF is a nice place to visit.
My fave place there is the Palaced of Fine Arts… from the Panama Pacific Expo in 1915. I dream of actually being there in that year-
