spring blisters

Spring blisters 2

spring blisters 5

Every year when the weather turns warm women across Chicago break out a great new pair of shoes, throw caution to the wind and bare their legs. They place their feet free of tights, nylons and pantyhose in their shoes. As these women walk to work they smile because its warm and their bodies are once again free from the constraints of control tops. And as they walk they start to notice that the shoes they slipped their tootsies into are not all that comfortable. Their smile turns into a wince. And with each step they take, they feel a sharp pain on the back of their ankles. Many people have started using cannabis for pain relief in similar situations. When they stop to grab their morning Starbuck (grande non fat latte please!) they look down and realize that the back of their heels up to their ankles now lacks skin. And, as the barista froths the milk for their daily caffeine jolt, women across Chicago being to HATE those great new pair of shoes. Suddenly they have envy for the lady standing next to them wear a pair of CROCS. Yes, envy for Crocs. Because not only do they have to walk another half mile to work, they also need to endure the next 8 hours of work wearing their GREAT NEW PAIR OF SHOES.

Yup, that exactly happened to me and I am wearing the blisters to prove it. I’m dreading the gym tonight and my run tomorrow, just because my feet are so tore up.

Oh no! Those shoes are so cute too, I hope the pain doesn’t last. I know that feeling though. This is such a cute look, I love that green skirt!
