AMD 19 years old
Amy, random gorilla, Mary Beth (my bff) and Me.  We were 19 years old in this picture.I’m not sure what is worse,  Mary Beth’s stars or my double chin face and bad hair.  WE WERE HOT!

Over 20 years ago I one of best friends.

What do I mean by best friend….

if either of us dies we know where to go and what to burn before our family starts rummaging though our stuff

in rough times we bring ice cream or wine or beer, typically all three and some diet coke

we support each other no matter how fat we get, albeit sometimes with a shoe horn and Vaseline, to always fit into a size 12!

10 years later, 29 years old!

Add another 10 years….

MB and Me

I love my BFF. We each have our own identify.  We are very different people yet in some way we were cast from the same mold. We can tell each other anything and will always be there for each other.
I’m also lucky to have met some other really really great women since college who are in my inner circle of friends.

They don’t all live in Chicago.  They don’t all know each other (though some do). But I love them all and they all have a place in my heart.

Having girlfriends is important to my soul.  I believe that women should support each other, help each other and love each other.

These women do all that and more!

Can I just say I love that you were carrying a Louis Vuitton with your denim shorts and Hooter’s Girl socks!! HA!

A strong circle of girlfriends is needed by every female. I don’t trust the women that say “I don’t have any girlfriends. I get along with guys more”.
