About a two weeks ago my mom had knee replacement surgery.  She is doing great.  Me on the other hand, I’m exhausted.  During her recovery her puppies are shacking up with us in the city.  To say having three dogs in the winter is a lot of work is an understatement.  Any thoughts of getting Addison sibling have been eradicated from my mind.  She will remain our only fur baby!

Meet house terror #1

Matty

Sweet and cute and loves to snuggle.  She has also peed on the bed, eaten her own poop and shredded an entire stack of magazines.   Here favorite place (to poop) in our house is the rug in the basement that slightly resembles a pee pad.

Meet house terror #2

Lilly

Sweet and silly and loves to give kisses.  She is a bit prissy, hates to go for walks, chewed a hole in the BRAND SPANKING NEW crate pad that was placed on top of the crate so she would not chew it.  She has an affintiy for flip flops and and the heels on my favorite shoes.

Addison is adjusting, well, kinda.  The first day with our furry guests she pathetically took her toy (the only one we didn’t hide because the house terrors destroy toys faster than Usain Bolt runs the 100 meter dash) and hid in our bedroom.  It was sad and funny.

For the humans in the house, the first two days were a bit rough but we wised up quickly and have been sending the puppies to doggie daycare.  BEST decision ever!  They come home from Urban Outsitters exhausted.  It’s awesome.

I feel your pain. 2 of mine have been diagnosed with giardia, with one of them who constantly rings the bell to take a walk, when she is healthy.

I finally had to put them in their crates so I could get some work done (and read blogs).
