I’ve been reading the book Spartan Up! written by the creator of the Spartan Race Series. The book is about the “Spartan” life strategy. One of my biggest take-aways from the book is you have to take a first step (perhaps not a takeaway but more of an in my face reminder). I’m not quite ready to train for nor tackle a Spartan Race but I am ready to train for a few 5Ks. Building my endurance and regaining my pace is my first step.
I was offered an entry to the Hit and Run 5K in July and thought Why Not? Fun runs are a great way to get a run in without the pressure of chip.
