Eating healthy when traveling is hard.  I’ve talked about my struggles here and it never gets any easier. Choices are often limited and temptations are everywhere. Today, my options for breakfast were pastries, cookies, bread or a prepared sandwich. I had a small baguette with jelly and cappuccino with 2% milk.

Knowing that my points were high for breakfast (bread and booze will suck your points faster than Usain Bolt runs100 meters) I made a wise choice for lunch. A Greek salad with shrimp, a piece of fruit, an iced tea and ONE Hershey kiss. Points for lunch were less than breakfast. Feta is a point friendly cheese, you get a big bang for you points with shrimp and a little Italian dressing goes a long way. My salad was delicious but the nachos the guy was eating next to me looked DIVINE!

I have an event tonight that is serving margaritas (devil in a cocktail glass) and Mexican food.

Like I said, eating healthy when traveling is HARD!
