Not all thing I made this year were “tasty and delicious.” In fact some things just sucked. Here you go, the worst of 2015.
Garlic Beef. A beef patty loaded with garlic over white rice with a weird green cilantro sauce was possibly the worst thing I made all year. It looked like someone pooped then barfed on a plate of perfectly good rice. It didn’t taste much better.

Lamb Chops with Parsley Sauce. The chops would not get crispy and then I topped them with a really weird green sauce. It kinda tasted like grass and garlic. Apparently I went though a phase with green sauces.

Cream Dill Sauce. So this was the time I tried to make cream sauce with greek yogurt. And then added lemon juice. It was the consistency of a cement mixer and tasted like sour milk. Total Fail.

Rhubarb Sorbet. I seriously f’d the sugar to fruit ratio up. Let’s just say I had a permanent pucker for hours after eating.

Green Chili Chicken Legs. I have no idea what happened to these chicken legs. I think they spoiled during the cooking process. They smelled like puke. I didn’t tempt fate, I did not try these but rather dumped them in the garbage and ordered delivery.

Oven fries. I didn’t toss them in enough oil. They were little hard dehydrated slices of potato on one side and soggy on the other. There was not enough salt and ketchup in the world to save these.

Garlic Turkey Burger. I was trying to salvage the Garlic Burger recipe I made above. Even after adding other stuff like jalapeños, cilantro and cheese it still sucked.

Calamari Salad. Okay this wasn’t horrible but the grapefruit just did not go with the squid. Oh, one could also argue that I slightly over cooked the calamari.

Banana Guava Smoothie. I learned an extremely valuable lesson about the anatomy of the guava and the fact that ONE unremoved seed can ruin your entire smoothie.

Garlic Beef on a Stick. This was my final attempt to save my garlic beef recipe. There was so much garlic in these that they pretty much lit a fire in the oven. I had to toss them in the sink under cold running water to stop them from smoking. For all I know they were delicious.

So yeah, everything I make to eat is not blog, Pinterest or Instagram worthy. How about you, what tragic food did you make in 2015?
