It was hot, I got a cramp, enough said.

I did my first mile at and 11:30 pace, my second mile at an 13:30 pace and my last mile I swear took over 15 min. It was a fun run so no official time, my watch said 41 min and some change. I was cruising the first half the 2nd mile then I got the cramp..then I walked I did a run walk thing. The last mile I could run 2 min walk 2 min. I did it the whole way to the finish line..obviously running of course it.

At least I did it..

I’m going back to a training plan. 3 days of running a week with set times trying to increase my pace. I really want to do the Bucktown 5K in under 36! Its my new goal.

Ahhh, to risk being mistaken for a cheerleader… You had a better run than any of those people who were sitting on their couch that day!
Great accomplishment getting out there and doing it!

Heat + cramp = blech. WTFG for sucking it up and finishing!! When that happens, there’s nothing much you can do except quit or keep going, and you kept going–awesome!
