October was a big month.  Well, it was not big weight loss wise but it was big for getting my head back in the game.  And while I struggled to lose an ounce in October, I made some really big strides in other areas.  NOT QUITTING.
I’m going to admit it, I use to be a race quitter.  When I was feeling less than confident about any race, I would just roll over and pull the sheets over my head and go back to sleep.  Well NO MORE!
Ready or not, feeling sub par or not, I put my big girl pants on, chewed my under trained crow and ran.  Thats right in October I ran not one BUT TWO half marathons.  Granted it wasn’t all running, but I did them. I tried my best for the condition I was in and finished.  And, I managed to avoid a PW (personal worst) in both.
Unfortunately this doesn’t put me at my goal weight, in fact it somewhat stifled my WLJ but my mindset has changed.  I’m no longer the race quitter.  I’m no longer the person who rolls over because its cold.  I’m getting out there an doing it.  Now I just need to wire my jaw shut follow weight watchers and I will be at my goal weight by spring.

So not only are you NOT a race quitter…um Hello? Don’t you have ANOTHER race coming up?…but you looked DANG fine (!!!) in October.

I had a hard time picking a fav this month. I love the Talbot’s jeans and red number that got you on their site. I liked the Sutton Studio sweater too. But really, all the outfits this month were great!

I loved your looks this month. There seemed to be more of a coherent theme.

Yeah on not being a “race quitter”! Keeping your head in the game is 1/2 the battle (not sure what the other 1/2 is).

From someone who can’t even fathom entering a race, you ROCK!

And I loved the Chanel-esque pearls, jacket and jeans look. Although I must say my favorite is the glammed up dress and boots look–you looked stunning!
