My vacation officially officially started Sunday (okay it started last Tuesday but I was in Christmas prep mode, not relaxing really) when I dragged my ass out of bed at 8 am to get ready and go to the Bears game.  Any other day I’d be delighted to go but I was tired from a very Merry Christmas the day prior and feeling slightly under the weather.  By Monday I was running a fever and I developed my first seasonal cold.  Boo!!

After a good helping of Chicken Noodle Soup, Vitamin C, Peppermint ice cream and Nyquil, I felt like crap when I woke up today.   So I washed down two Dayquils with my coffee and started to feel human again.  (Better living though pharmaceutical research I say!).  After a lazy morning we headed to the IMAX today to see TRON.  I enjoyed the movie and the 3D effects more than I thought I would.

Even more than the movie, I enjoyed my sandwich from Grahamwich.

I had a delightful short rib sandwich (short ribs, pickled shallots, shoe string potatoes, watercress and horseradish sauce on a pretzel roll), an orange ginger soda and we shared a bag of chip (herbs, bacon bits and ranch powder).

I’m not sure what I’m doing tomorrow but Meatyballs will be in my hood.  I’m torn as to which balls I want?

And if your asking if I’ve been sticking to Weight Watchers? Yes, Yes I have counted everything and Yes, Yes I am WAY over my alloted points. Yes, Yes I’m out of flex points.  Isn’t that what New Years Resolutions are for?  or perhaps I’ll drag my butt to the gym tomorrow so I can enjoy my Meatyballs guilt free!

That sandwich looks so yum-yum-delicious. Also, I think I may need to drive up to Chicago just to hunt down the Meatyballs truck!

Hope you are feeling much better soon.
