Fennel Orange Salad 2
According to Foods.org, fennel is one of the 130 healthiest foods to eat.  Fennel is an excellent source of vitamin C, folate, potassium and dietary fiber. Fennel is rich in antioxidants and is a carminative, meaning it helps prevent the formation of gas in the intestinal tract.
Fennel Orange Salad Ingredients
Ingredients:

1 bulb fennel
4 cups mixed green lettuce
1/4 cup olive oil

How exciting to find another blogger that is eating their way through the 50 Best Sandwiches list! I loved the inside of the BLT at Old Oak Tap – but I was so disappointed in the bread. Too soft/soggy. Just didn’t hold up for me.

So far, my favorite is the Croque Madame at Troquet. Although off the list, I think that PQM has the best sandwiches in the city, hands down.

    xoxo, Sandy

My bread was really good. I ordered off menu for brunch…so that could be why. I was focaccia and toasted.

I had the sausage at PQM and it was good. Friend Bologna at Au Cheval was pretty good. The sauce was great.

Off the list, Shrimp Sandwich at Little Goat Bread is AWESOME.
