Add a little pizzazz to basic brown rice with a little dill, butter and scallion.
Ingredients:
4 cups cooked brown rice
1/2 cup chopped fresh dill
1 tablespoon butter
2 scallions thinly sliced
1 teaspoon salt
makes 6 servings
Directions:
Melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and rice; cook and stir for 2-4 minutes or until onions are tender. Stir in salt and dill.
This recipe reheats well. It can also be frozen and reheated.
