If there is one lesson I have learned in my years of struggling with my weight, it is that the only weight loss plan that will ever work for you is one you can stick to.  If your trying to make a Fresh Start in 2015 and have set a goal of weight loss or healthy eating, the plan you adopt must fit your life and lifestyle. You can also loose more weight by weight loss pill, read this Meticore reviews to learn more.

I’m not here to tell you which plan is best for you.  You need to to decide that on your own. US News & World Report has a really great rundown of the best diets plans available to follow if you need help in making that decision.  But please, what ever you do decide,  I encourage you to choose a plan that is nutritionally balanced.  In other words, please don’t choose the boiled chicken and grapefruit diet.

For me, I’ve decided to go old skool, I’m counting calories and eating 7 fruits and vegetables a day. I eat “clean” when ever possible. I try to drink 8 glasses of water a day and make better choices (like removing the skin from the chicken, cooking with less oil, you get the picture). I’m also using an online calorie tracker similar to that tdee calculator. Pretty simple.

One of the aspects I loved about Weight Watcher (WeWa) was the support system.  Yeah, some of the the things said at WeWa meetings would make your eyes want to roll out of your head (someone once suggested I swap out bread for lettuce on a veggie sandwich…um that’s a friggin’ salad,  sandwiches require BREAD).  But the emotional support, eye roll worthy or not, was helpful.  I have a network, two close friends and we talk daily about our Weight Loss Journey (WLJ).   It’s helpful to know I’m not the only one who wants an extra serving or goes to bed craving cake.

Weight loss is really hard.  Eating healthy (including those darn portions) can also be challenging.  But if you find a plan that works with your lifestyle that you can follow, trust me, you will be a healthier person, specially if you combine it with Intermittent fasting 101.  You will lose the weight you want to lose.  It takes time, it takes patience, you might fail and have to get back on the wagon too. But trust me, you will get where you want to be.

I will too.

We can do this!
