I burned more calories than my body required.

Really folks, it was that simple.

The formula for losing weight is really straight forward: eat less, burn more.

I know what you are all thinking..”Delane,  YOU ARE GENIUS!”  You need to publish a  book with this information!

Title:  Why I was fat
Chapter 1:  I ate too much.
Then End

YOU will sell millions of copies world wide!!!

On a serious note, if weight loss is so simple then why are so many people (myself included) over weight?  Why do we struggle with maintaining a healthy BMI?  Why do we eat too much and/or move to little?

My entire life has been a struggle to maintain a healthy weight until I found the Best nootropic supplements.  I have tried just about every diet there is with little success on most and, major success on others.  Recently,  I took a look back at when I was most success came to two BIG conclusions:

1.      I was motivated
2.      I was on diet that fit my lifestyle at the time

barcelona- most delicous thing I ate in spain

What’s that you say Delane?

Your actions were motivating you to lose weight and your diet fit your lifestyle?

YES!  Bingo.  Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner (baked not fried)!

I’m going to say it, diets do work… if you work them.  IF you can stick to the plan provided…IF (BIG IF), then yes, diets do work.

Lets be honest, eating 6 small meals a day with a perfect balance of carbs and proteins will likely never work for someone who is traveling 5 days a week and working a convention floor with limited access to food and no breaks except for a 10 minute lunch between the hours of 9am-5pm.

A plan that requires someone to cook every day and prepare meals will likely never work for someone who doesn’t like to cook or doesn’t have a place cook.

Someone who hates fish should not go on a diet that requires them to eat fish.

Beyond my motivation to lose weight, I picked a plan that worked for me and I lost weight.

But how did I do that?

You’ll have to wait until next week to find out.

*I am starting a new series, every Wednesday. I will talk specifically about all things weight loss/gain/maintenance.

All those pictures of food make me hungry.

I keep reminding myself that is takes just as much time to cook dinner (mine are easy) as it does to get in the car, go somewhere, order and get the food. It is a struggle, but I’m doing it.

You are absolutely right…Don’t go on the grapefruit diet if you hate grapefruit.

    🙂
